What Exactly Is a Corrector Peel facial?

In essence, our corrector Peel Facial removing dead skin cells and stimulating the growth of new ones.

“There are three types of chemical peels: superficial ones that work on the surface and target the outer, dead layer of skin cells and medium or deep peels that go further into the epidermis for deeper resurfacing action,”

Regardless of depth, they all work in the same way—breaking down the “glue” that binds our skin dead cells together. This allows the unnecessary upper layers to be whisked away, leaving the new-before-seen skin to shine through.

The Benefits

Superficial chemical peels can be used to reduce the appearance of fine lines, even skin tone, improve pigmentation and treat acne while deeper peels can also stimulate collagen production.

The normal rate of skin cell turnover is between 21 and 28 days, and this rate tends to slow down dramatically in our late 20s. Superficial Corrector Peels help to increase this cellular turnover in the form of exfoliation and to stimulate healthy cell growth.

Is My Skin a Fit For Peeling?

The only people who shouldn’t touch peels with a glycolic or lactic acid are those who have allergies to the ingredients included or have inflamed and active skin diseases — everyone else can benefit from a good cleanse and polish.

Downtime and Aftercare

Again, it depends on the type of peel. We have it’s light and superficial that you might find your skin looks perfectly fine post-treatment. A medium peel might take a week to heal while a deeper peel could take up to a 2 weeks for downtime. Post-treatment mask sheet that include excellent source of collagen and vitamin c & E masks are being developed to soothe soreness, flood skin with moisture and enhance the healing process after treatment. They can also help reduce inflammation and prevent pigmentation.

IPL Photofacial

  • WHAT DOES IPL PhotoFacial FEEL LIKE?

The procedure is gentle, non-invasive, and safe. While everyone has a different tolerance, there is usually no need for a topical anesthetic. Should you feel discomfort, your treatment provider can provide you with a topical numbing cream for use on sensitive areas.

  • HOW DO I PREPARE FOR THE TREATMENT?

During the initial consultation, our staff of medical and nursing professionals will advise you how to best prepare for treatment. You should stay out of direct sunlight or tanning beds and refrain from using medications that make you more sensitive to light.

  • HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?

The number of treatments needed will vary, and your treatment provider will personalize a treatment plan for you. With about 5 sessions to address pigmentation issues like brown spots or age spot concerns.

  • WHAT CAN I EXPECT AFTER IPL Photofaical ?

Immediately after treatment, expect to see redness with mild swelling. Brown spots, age spots and freckles will turn 2-3 shades darker after treatment which will then flake off. Your skin may feel similar to a slight sunburn in the treated area. This should dissipate within hours but could last a day or two. Sun spots, age spots should begin to clear up in one to two weeks. You can expect to see brighter, healthier looking skin several days after treatment.

Laser Hair Removal

IS IT SAFE?

When combining medically graded and FDA approved technologies with qualified Laser Technicians, laser hair reduction is very safe. Our Laser device are FDA, Medical CE, and ISO 9001 approved, our technicians are fully licensed and are recognized by the Medical Aesthetics and Laser Technology Council of Canada.

WHAT DOES THE CLIENT FEEL DURING TREATMENT?
During treatment, you will feel cool sensation throughout whole procedure. You might also feel warm sensation with slight tingling sensation or a little tingling sensation depends on how the treatment area is sensitive. Please do not hesitate to let technician know if you feel uncomfortable with the sensation, we can increase the cooling system for your comfort.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE NECESSARY?
Until now hair had to be treated during the growing phase (20%-30% depending on the area) Since growth cycles vary, approx. 6-10 treatments are usually necessary.

WILL THERE BE ANY SIDE-EFFECTS?
Skin is more sensitive in some areas of the body than in others and redness can occur as a side effect. It should disappear in a matter of hours but could potentially be as intense as sunburn lasting a few days.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SEE THE RESULTS?
It usually takes 2 to 3 weeks before the hair is actually shed.

ARE 2-3 WEEK TOUCH-UPS SAFE & EFFECTIVE?

A 2 to 3 week touch-up is neither safe nor effective. Some laser hair removal centers may offer a complementary touch-up at the 2 weeks marker, but this is not a safe practice. We space each laser hair removal treatment approximately 4 to 8 weeks apart depending on individual's hair density, hair growth cycle as well as the factors of hair growth. Laser hair removal done too soon is not only ineffective, it can also put the skin at risk for burning or scarring
