How Can Dysport® Improve The Appearance Of My Wrinkles?
Whenever the muscles contract and release acetylcholine, it produces wrinkles on the face. When Botox is administered, it prevents the release of acetylcholine, and the muscles become relaxed. The effect creates a soothing relief for your muscles as it smoothens the fine lines and wrinkles in the process
Dysport® is a safe and effective cosmetic injectable for moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows, crow’s feet and forehead furrows. The treatment smooths and minimizes facial wrinkles, delivering natural-looking results and more youthful appearance.
How Does Dysport® Work?
Dysport® injections target specific muscles that are responsible for frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead furrows. Wrinkles and fine lines are caused by muscle contractions that occur hundreds of times each day. Injections temporarily prevent muscular contraction while leaving the rest of the facial muscles free to move naturally. After treatment, deep facial lines appear softer and less prominent.
How Long Does Dysport® Last?
Dysport® injections generally take around 30 minutes to complete. In fact, many patients schedule this treatment during their lunch hour. You can expect to begin seeing results within three days, with maximum results being seen in around 14 days. A single treatment can last for up to four months.
How Much Does Dysport® Cost?
The cost varies depending upon the frequency of treatment as well as the amount of product used during each injectable session, but the price is similar to that for Botox® and Xeomin® injections. Rebates and treatment discounts may also available at Mobley MD Facial Plastic Surgery. Ask the Beauty Now team for information on current promotions.
